Let me show you so you can open up the door here and then down here come down here for a second right inside there you can see where the keyhole is and this key actually will fit right inside trying to be very careful right inside of there and then you can turn it if you need to physically open up the car in case the batteries go dead for some reason by the way this part here the inside of this is the same as the NSX funny this car actually has a couple of things that our NSX DNA built-in.
This part is one of them the other part is this roof railing all the way up here is actually made of the same materials they make the doors of the NSX out of how cool is that who would have thought that the NSX supercar and the Honda II would have the same parts inside of them it's pretty awesome those come around the side here and these cameras we showed you these before this is going to be your side view camera so just like a regular car mirror but what's nice is that if someone has their brights on you can actually dim this on the inside screen which would be beautiful your turn signals are inside here and then your 360 camera will be right on the bottom and it looks like this kind of sticks out a little bit like you might hit something but they've specially designed the fenders almost the same with is this.
So you'd actually hit the fender before you hit this camera off so coming around to the side this is a five-door it's a five-door hatchback the back door is opened up just like that and then I'll put the windows down in a moment but you'll see there are no window rails so it's really really sporty.
You guys didn't see that right there so when this is open it looks really really cool 17-inch alloy wheels I've never seen an alloy like this on any Honda it's really really new and this one has the pilot Michelin tires.
I'm not sure what's going to hit production but it gives the car a really really nice stance the reason why I'm a Honda it doesn't line up with the valve stem is for rigidity these spokes had to be up on top like this. Therefore the valve stem couldn't go in the middle it was all done to me this wheel is strong and rigid as possible coming around to the back again with the circular design the circular design of the taillights the brake lights the turn signals will be on the top and then when it comes to backup lights reverse lights they have a reverse light right here built-in there's another reverse light over here on this site and then if you're in areas that have fog lights in the rear there might be a fog light there or there might be a rear fog light here but if there's no fog light I don't know if you can see this.
I get really close Honda has a little secret if you can see inside there's a little outline a silhouette of the Honda II built in there so for countries like Japan that don't have rear fog lights there will be two silhouettes in Europe there'll be one silhouette depending on what side the fog lights on so when you guys see that you can tell him that Han approached Jason found out there's a little silhouette back there the parking sensors in the rear as well now let's open up the back let's start there now in the back you guys can see there is a lot of room not a lot of room underneath here and there is no spare tire you do have a handling information for the Honda V back from a Geneva and then this here they have some tie-downs if you want to tie some stuff down you see that right inside there this seat folds flat you put this keyway here now normally as you guys know.
I would be jumping in and out of the car and hanging out of the sunroof well there is no sunroof I'd be hanging out the storm from neurology to stuff but this is the only vehicle of the kind of its kind in the world this is the same one that goes to all the car shows so I had to be very very careful with it which is really hard for me to do so this seat goes down and it folds I'm assuming there it goes it folds totally flat and this would be the time that would normally lay down and show you how big it is but I'm going to skip that with much respect to Honda interesting I just noticed this the whole interior is made up like your living room.
It really is the seats are made out of the same fabric that you're so for would be made out of and it just notices I've never seen this before the seat belts are brown kind of keeping with that whole living room that would that kind of soft cool feeling. It's really really neat okay let me shut this really carefully again and now we've looked at the outside. I've shown you pretty much everything there I didn't really show you the roof is glass part of it is open so you can see through it the other part is solid it does not open though there is no sunroof it's just like a panoramic roof but that's pretty much everything on the outside including some tips and tricks and some secret stuff the inside is gonna blow your mind.
When I sat inside this car for the first time I smiled for about 15 minutes straight I think my cheeks still hurt so let's check it out come on and get you in here you okay are you guys ready for this can you get a good shot of this - you're gonna have to see this - light up so watch this one press two presses there are a total of six LED screens in here so there's two on the sides for the side cameras there's one in the middle that gives you all your instrumentation your miles per hour and there's two in the center here these are gonna be used for driver or passenger to control navigation battery life any of the Wi-Fi the clock the phone any a personal assistant all the stuff can be done from driver or passenger and it can also be swayed back and forth so you can flip the screens it can be used as one screen it's simply outstanding so that's one two three four five I did say there are a total of six LCD screens.
Here's the six one so here's your rear-view camera can you see yourself in there so there's a review camera which is a normal rear-view camera but as soon as you flick this you move this it immediately turns into an LCD screen that you can actually see out of the back when you're in Reverse so a regular mirror LCD screen and the interior like I said the interior is made out of this material that doesn't feel really good with gloves on so let me take this off it feels just like a high-end sofa it really does and with all the wood inside not real wood but let's just pretend it looks and feels so soft two spoke steering wheel who does a two spoke steering wheel it's it's retro futuristic is what I call it really really looks good it reminds me kind of the original civics so you have all your sensing technologies here you have all your audio buttons here your headlights wipers are all on the same spot looking down here the center console is fixed so it just stays where it is you have drive modes you have your obviously your parking reverse your dry and then you have this button which I've never seen before this is actually a one pedal driving button so what happens when you press this button you can just use the accelerator pedal and when you let go these in the accelerator D sells so fast.
You don't really need the brakes so you continue down here and you're going to see your drive modes so you have three drive modes sports normally any kind you have brake hold you have your cup holders here with these removable little slots that remove and they can put them into all these different areas which I love and the hidden cup holder in front of the center console is a handle in a hidden cup holder check that out how cool is that so many little hidden easter eggs all over this vehicle and again keeping the living room design.
If you back up a little bit look at these LEDs in the ceiling it looks like something you have in your living room something you'd have in your house it's really really fascinating design is just its outstanding it's super comfortable inside I mean the sitting position is beautiful I can see all the way around the vehicle and if I can't see around the vehicle who cares you have seven cameras to let you see around the vehicle and now for connectivity this car you can connect everything down here you have a 230 volt 1500 watt plug in a regular power outlet HDMI input USB and it looks like some sort of USB quick charge.
What to learn more about that soon the HDMI is so you can actually watch movies on the main screen, yeah but how'd you like to just sit and chill and watch a movie on these two beautiful cities that'd be so neat you can actually use this car as a generator so let's say the power goes out in your house or let's say you're going camping you need a generator you'll need a generator you need your you'll need your car can actually generate enough power to do whatever you need to do.
It's pretty awesome so guys I hope you've enjoyed my very first look at the Honda II and by the way Honda just announced that is the official named for the car is gonna be the Honda II a ready schedule for Japan and Europe nothing about America yet, but I can only imagine my guess is this coming to the US for sure.
So again I hope you guys enjoy this I am super stoked like I am super excited about this car the motor the motors in the back and its rear-wheel-drive is to increase the fun-to-drive and the turning radius I go how tight is it it goes when you're driving you'll see but it's almost like this I'm like you've got to be kidding that's why they moved it to the rear this is gonna be so awesome to drive so the handling dynamics.
I talked to one of the guys the engineers they said the handling dynamics is outstanding cuz now the front wheels don't at the power the car the front wheels tuners worry about steering and the car is handling it's gonna be awesome for an Eevee it's gonna handle well it's gonna have the range of a hundred and twenty-five miles minimum thinking about the range of the car 125 miles minimum or 200 kilometers the vehicle wasn't made for long-range sure honey could have put a huge battery in it the vehicle was really made for size they want a small compact car that was very comfortable and inviting inside and that's where I think they've done how can you go wrong in the technology I've never seen technology like this in any vehicle it's gonna be outstanding so guys as always but this time from Norway I'm the Honda pro and now you're in the know.
